Certification Locations

LAKE JULIETTE - Open Water Certification Location - The lake is 3,600-acres and is maintained in cooperation with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. The area we train in has an average depth of 20-25 feet with a sandy bottom and visibility in the lake during the summer averages about 5-8 feet. There is not anything to see at the lake other than a passing fish every ounce in a while. This is a lake that offers a convenient local option for us to do training. Before choosing this option, please be sure that you will be comfortable diving in a low viability environment.

BLUE WATER PARK - Open Water Certification Location - A 26-acre former limestone quarry located in Pelham, Alabama. Visibility ranges from 25 - 75 feet in the summer to 50-100 feet in the winter. There is an abundance of aquatic life includes bass, sunfish, catfish, bream, bluegill, Japanese koi, carp, freshwater jellyfish, and turtles. Divers will also enjoy the many underwater attractions including fire trucks, cars, boats, jet skis, school bus, and the rare “freshwater dolphin.”
